Hi, and welcome to my digital home! This website is a space where I share my work, process, and journey as both a children’s book author and creative strategist.
I have loved to write for my entire life, always writing down short stories for family members and bringing my ideas to life on the page. As I grew, so did my curiosity for the publishing process. I realized I didn’t have to choose between the two, and my first children’s book was born. Blending my personal goals with my desire to learn the industry allowed me to create the ultimate passion project.
My book, The Thing About Fairies, offers a charming inside-scoop on the mysterious lives of our tiny friends and gives my first idea for a book its very own wings.
Inspired by bedtime stories told by my dad, this project has been special in so many ways. I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes looks at the self-publishing process and the strategy behind the illustrations done by my incredible illustrator. (Like the artwork you see in my header banner!)
