I am a Massachusetts local through and through—usually found with an iced coffee in hand and fiercely cheering on our sports teams.
Growing up with two big sisters, our childhood was a constant stage. Magical occurrences happened often at our house, largely because our parents were absolute masters of imagination. They didn't just tell bedtime stories; they built universes.
For a long time, those stories lived happily in our memories. But everything changed when my beautiful niece was born. Becoming an auntie—or in my case, “D”—sent a massive wave of childhood nostalgia over me. I looked at her and realized that these magical memories didn't just belong to my sisters and me; they belonged to the next generation.
While I have several stories in the works, this one in particular is dedicated to my dad, a remarkable storyteller and artist who passed away in 2024. He was always meant to be a big part of this project, and Victoria helped make that a reality. She beautifully integrated one of his original sketches directly into the book’s illustrations. I will forever be grateful to her for bringing his lines to life, allowing my family to share yet another piece of his artistic gift with my niece, nephews, and young readers everywhere.
When I’m not writing, you can usually find me at the beach, shopping, and keeping the Greco family storytelling tradition alive, one page at a time.
